Mendocino Coast

CD and I decided to get away for the weekend- sort of a romantic getaway before my departure for the cold climates of the north Atlantic. Brrrr!
So we drove down to Fort Bragg and Mendocino. It is a beautiful stretch of coast!

We stayed at a quaint Bed and Breakfast in Fort Bragg. A few minutes walk led to Glass Beach:

We were hoping to see some whales off the coast since it is migration time. Unfortunately both days were extremely windy and there were too many white caps making it near impossible to spot them. Other than the wind, it was sunny and fairly warm.

On Sunday we walked around Mendocino and had lunch before driving home.

Also, this month marks the advent of spring, so before leaving I've planted my garden. Let's hope there are no further frosts.
We have also already started to enjoy CD's latest batch of homebrew. Here he is on bottling day
